Gold-silver paragenetic evolution in ore deposits of the Magnitogorsk paleoisland arc, Southern Urals

Economic gold deposits in the Southern Urals are found within structures of the Magnitigorsk paleoisland arc system, and are also associated with later collisional processes and syn-collisional granite intrusions. Each stage of island arc evolution is characterized by a specific ore type, featuring specific mineral associations and forms of the noble metals. These features in turn reflect the conditions of mineral formation.
