Fundamental Studies of Catalytic Gasification: Quarterly Report, October 1,1990 — December 31,1990

A controlled atmosphere electron microscopy (CAEM) study was completed for the steam gasification of graphite catalyzed by KOH/CaO. This permits comparison with the earlier CAEM study with K/Ni catalysts. Studies of controlled atmosphere electron microscopy, poisoning of demineralized char, and chemical intermediates during gasification are discussed. 17 figs., 1 tab.
