Film cooling in nozzles with the large geometric expansion using method of integral relations and second moment closure model for turbulence — Artur Dmitrenko (1997) | RDL Network
The cooling problem for great expansion nozzle using calculation results are discussed. Results are obtained using redeveloped method of integral relations and original second moment closure model for turbulence. Comparison between well-known experimental data and prediction results are made for the verification. The difference between results of two calculation methods are taken into account for discussing of the determination design solutions of the cooling. All predictions for nozzles include calculations of film, regenerative and radiative cooling.
