RC部材の変形能力を大きくして耐震性を向上させる目的で, 多量の横方向鉄筋を密に配置することが一般的になってきている. このようにすれば軸方向鉄筋の弾性座屈は防止できるが, 鉄筋降伏以後の塑性座屈を防止することは困難である. 従って, 強震時において軸方向鉄筋は引張塑性域から圧縮座屈域にわたる変位の繰り返しを受けることになり, 低サイクル疲労による鉄筋の破断が懸念される. 本研究は, D19異形鉄筋に強震時を想定した大変位の繰り返し載荷を行って, その破壊条件を検討したものである.
