Fünffach verzwillingte, Seestern-förmige Rh-Nanokristalle mit fünf Armen (siehe TEM-Bild) wurden in hohen Ausbeuten ausgehend von [{Rh(CF3COO)2}2] synthetisiert. Die Synthese vermeidet oxidative Ätzvorgänge, und die frisch hergestellten Rh-Nanokristalle eignen sich sehr gut als SERS-Substrate.
