Abstract
1 min read
Thin, electrically conductive metallic films have been generated on the sidewalls of relief patterns on a poly(dimethylsiloxane) stamp using a combination of thin-film metal deposition and nanotransfer printing (see image). These conductive metal films generate patterns of charge in thin films of dielectrics using electrical microcontact printing. Sub-micrometer particles of polystyrene and iron oxide adhere specifically to the regions of charge.
