Background: Transcatheter arterial chemoembolization (TACE) refractoriness is an indication for sorafenib treatment in patients with intermediate-stage hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). This study aims at evaluating the efficacy of conversion of treatment to sorafenib on overall survival (OS) among trans arterial chemoembolization (TACE)-refractory HCC patients.
