This study showed that although bindarit did not prevent renal cyst growth, it limited interstitial inflammation and renal dysfunction and reduced proteinuria in PKD. Thus, bindarit could be considered a therapeutic intervention complementary to therapies specifically acting to block renal cyst growth.
