Effect of Tension Compensator on Sirofil Yarn Properties

In this paper, the mechanism of tension compensator (TC) was analyzed. The effect of TC on properties of Sirofil composite yarn, such as the hairiness property and the property of abrasion-resistance, was studied theoretically and experimentally. The theoretical results agreed very well with the experimental data. It was also shown that the adoption of TC greatly reduced the hairiness of Sirofil composite yarn, and the property of abrasion-resistance was improved enormously.
