This paper provides an overview of the design and implementation of a wireless communication-based platooning system for trains. The system aims to improve train performance, increase safety, and reduce fuel and energy consumption by allowing trains to travel in proximity and communicate wirelessly with each other. By using Radio communication module NRF24L01, trains within the platoon can exchange vital information such as speed, position, and braking signals in real-time. This information sharing facilitates synchronized movements, reduces gaps between trains, and improves overall system efficiency.
