The authors have noted the following. Our continued studies in the field of Nitinol texture has recently revealed a notation error in this paper resulting in an incorrect conclusion regarding the exact crystallite orientation of Nitinol tube. The conclusion that tube and sheet have quite different texture is still correct. However, the texture of the tubes is now known to be of type {221}<1¯22> plus signifi- cant <111> type drawing direction texture. For a detailed discussion about this texture along with the most recent pole figures, quantifications, and experimental verification, the reader is referred to the following reference.
