Abstract
1 min read
Tell the atoms where to go: By manipulating the rate at which Ag atoms were generated from a precursor, the nucleation and growth of Ag on Pd nanocubes with six equivalent {100} facets were controlled to generate three different types of bimetallic nanocrystals: Pd–Ag hybrid dimers, Pd–Ag eccentric nanobars, and [email protected] core–shell nanocrystals (see scheme).
