Abstract Nanometer‐sized clusters of CdSe are synthesized using organometallic reagents in inverse micellar solution (e.g., a bis(2‐ethylhexyl)sulfosuccinate/H2O/heptane microemulsion containing (Me 3 Si) 2 Se and Cd 2+ ions).
