Abstract The compounds Li 2 Mn 1‐y Fe y P 2 O 7 (y = 0, 0.2, 0.5, 0.8, 1) are synthesized by evaporation of aqueous solutions of LiOAc, Fe(OAc) 2 , Mn(OAc) 2 , and NH 4 H 2 PO 4 , followed by annealing (H 2 /He, 400—700 °C).
