Abstract The one‐pot method involves the ruthenium‐catalyzed dehydrogenative coupling of indoles or N‐heterocycles such as carbazole, tetrahydroquinoline, and dibenzothiazines with a dihydrosilane or dimethylchlorosilane to give the N‐silylated derivatives, which undergo an iridium‐catalyzed silyl‐directed borylation reaction to afford after desilylation the selectively borylated heterocycles.
