Abstract A variety of aryl ketones, benzaldehyde and benzylic alcohol derivatives smoothly undergo Ir‐catalyzed ortho‐silylation with H 2 SiEt 2 followed by Ir‐catalyzed dehydrogenative cyclization to give benzoxasilole derivatives in good yields.
