In this paper, we characterize interval - valued fuzzy bridges and interval-valued fuzzy cutnodes in terms of α strong arcs. We discuss about the behaviour of arcs in a strongest path of an interval - valued fuzzy graph. An example is provided to prove that strongest paths are not in general related to strong paths in an interval - valued fuzzy graph. Finally we give a particular condition under which strong paths and strongest paths are equivalent.
