The paper considers the He/spl acute/non map controlled by simple sine functions. A new chaotic attractor is found in this controlled He/spl acute/non map, and its basic properties are discussed in terms of its Lyapunov exponents. The chaotic behavior is also numerically analyzed for a range of control parameters.
