In this manuscript, to avoid the floating driver circuitry, a close-knit of X-Y converter family called new DC-DC chain of XY converter (XG-YG power converter family) is articulated for high step-up renewable applications. Initially, Switched Reactive Networks (SRNs) are utilized, and eight (8) new configurations of the buck-boost converter are derived with inverting voltage gain capability and grounded switching. Total sixteen (16) configurations are proposed by making the possible combination of eight derived buck-boost converter configurations, and all proposed configurations provide a viable solution to accomplish high step-up output voltage using grounded switching. The proposed converter configurations are suitable for automotive, DC-drive, PV-MLI, fuel cell, etc. applications which required low to high voltage conversion. The detail structure formation of XG-YG power converter family with member categorization, the comparison is discussed in the article. The XG-YG converter family can generate non-inverting high step-up voltage with Synchronous Grounding Switching (SGS) and without using the transformer and coupled inductor. To validating the functionality and performance of XG-YG converter family, all the members are simulated, and the obtained results always show a good deal with the mathematical approach.
