The investigation of polymers using soln. viscometry is a well-established methodol. in polymer science. Here we present a set-up for high-throughput automated viscosity measurements that facilitates automated sampling from the reaction vessels of an automated synthesizer, automated diln. and calcn. of the intrinsic viscosities of polymer samples.
