Application of visbreaking technology in quench system of Daqing ethylene device

In the light of the problems existed in the quench oil visbreaking system of Daqing ethylene device,two sets of device including new and old system are reformed according to the quench oil visbreaking mechanism.The quench oil systems of two sets are jointly operated by adding a visbreaking tower and material handling equipment.The reform process,equipment structure and transformation of related data are provided in this paper.The running results show that,the kettle temperature in quench oil tower is close to the designed values.The yield of ethylene and propylene in the ethane furnace can reach the design target.At the same time,the comprehensive energy consumption of device decreases.
