Polymer Science In article number 2309844, Holger Ruckdäschel, Ulrich S. Schubert, and co-workers summarize the current state-of-the-art of digital methods in macromolecular chemistry and engineering. While high-throughput experimentation simplifies laboratory work, modeling methods can reduce the number of experiments required to lead to revolutionary discoveries. From robotics, over machine learning to artificial intelligence, digital methods can accelerate research and increase data quality, quantity, and impact.
