A mathematical model describing the viscosity in polymer solution is proposed. An allometric scaling law between average molecular weight and its solution viscosity is obtained, and the scaling relationship between the diameter of the electrospun fibre and average molecular weight is also derived. In the derivation, He Chengtian's interpolation, which has millennia history, is applied.
