Pembrolizumab did not adversely impact liver function compared with placebo in patients with HCC, as measured by changes in ALBI scores. A trend toward improved overall survival was observed with pembrolizumab in both ALBI grade groups. <b><i>ClinicalTrials.gov identifier</i>:</b> NCT02702401.
