"Photothermometer": Ein PAOF-System wurde mit einem Diodenlaser als Energiequelle, einer wässrigen Suspension plasmonischer Nanostrukturen als photothermische Energiewandler und einer Glaskapillare zur Messung der volumetrischen Ausdehnung der Suspension aufgebaut (siehe Bild).
