Multifunctional Theranostic Agents Low absorptivity is still a common challenge in the development of new luminescent materials. In article number 2306616, Lei Zheng, Feng Xu, Guorui Jin, Ben Zhong Tang, and co-workers report a simple, efficient and universal design strategy by introducing a gold(I) unit to luminescent molecules, especially NIR-II molecules, to elevate their absorptivity for intensified NIR-II emission and synergized multimodality therapy.
